DETECTIVES hunting the masked men who held up a Preston bank have released images of two vehicles believed to have been involved in the raid. ad, Fulwood, and demanded cash at 4.30pm on Thursday. One struck a manager on the head before the pair fled through a back door with a substantial amount of money. They are believed to have escaped through gardens and on to Marina Drive.

The downtown Bank of America branch was held up this afternoon, and the robber made off with an unknown amount of cash, city police said. A man handed a note to a teller at 2:20 p.m. indicating he was armed and saying to hand over the money, said Sgt. Terry Buchanan, a department spokesman. The thief fled the bank branch, which is located at the corner of State and Third streets, with the money.
